Located east of Théoule-sur-mer, Port La Galère is positioned between the Pointe des Deux-frères and the Pointe Saint-Marc. Composed of a basin of approximately 1 hectare, this small port with the appearance of a private residential area contains 400 apartments facing the sea.

The Port La Galère has the capacity to accommodate 169 boats with berths ranging from 5.50 to 16 meters maximum. It is very well protected thanks to its rock breakwater approximately 300 meters long, doubled on the inside by a concrete quay, itself protected by a shelter wall.

Equipped with a harbor master's office, mainly designed by the architect Léopold Vittorge, the port offers various services to boaters. Indeed, it is possible throughout the year to obtain weather information, to be supplied with water and electricity as well as fuel. In addition, the port has a slipway. Located to the north of the basin, it is close to the careening area.
Finally, on the quay, we find a fisherman's hut belonging to the Cannes industrial tribunal.

The port consists of two 37-metre-long jetties and two other 16-metre-long jetties. In addition, marked by two beacons and two lights, access to the port entrance pass is made easier for all boaters.

Port La Galère also includes shops, a private summer and winter club, with a swimming pool and a restaurant. Its members-only access perfectly demonstrates the exclusivity of this port with concessionary management.

Listed as a 20th century heritage site since November 28, 2000, the charming Port la Galère is truly enhanced by its outdoor spaces, its magnificent gardens and its stretches of artificial beaches.

In the early 1920s, a pier was built in the Galère district. Around 1960, Charles Tiffen imagined a project on an exceptional site: the Cité Marine de Port la Galère. He decided to create a luxury residence that would be centered around a private port. Indeed, the idea was to offer 400 apartments facing the sea, placed in buildings ranging from three to four floors.

In order to make this project more concrete, Charles Tiffen decided to integrate other professionals into the design of the project such as Jacques Couëlle and Léopold Vittorge, who would become the main architect of the operation from 1968.
It was in 1984 that the Port la Galère concessionary company was created.

This small marina represents a real maritime extension of the Cité Marine of Port la Galère. Its unique architecture and its location facing the bay of Cannes, earn it the unconditional happiness of the majority of boaters who pass through it. To this day, the architectural particularity of Port la Galère and its isolated side are undoubtedly strong assets, both for its residents and for its visitors. Indeed, at Port la Galère reigns calm and serenity, all year round.

Furthermore, through its location in the heart of the Massif de l'Estérel and the breathtaking views it offers, Port La Galère is a true emblem of the small ports of the Côte d'Azur.
