Located just 1.5 km from the city centre of Saint-Raphaël, the Port of Santa Lucia is the 3rd largest marina on the Côte d'Azur. It is an ideal place to stroll along its 2 km of quayside and browse the shops and the various panoramic views it offers visitors.
The Port of Santa Lucia can accommodate up to 1,630 vessels at the quayside, as well as along its fixed jetties. Composed of three separate basins, the port is protected by a rock jetty approximately 1.2 metres long and sheltered from the prevailing winds.
Moreover, thanks to its well-connected nature, Port Santa Lucia offers complete services and efficient innovations for boating and pleasure craft. In addition, it is a perfect starting point for stopovers on the Côte d'Azur (Cannes, Cap Antibes, Saint-Tropez, etc.) as well as for Corsica, Sardinia and Italy.
Port Santa Lucia offers fresh water and electricity supply services, as well as a fuel service at the entrance to the northern basin and two sanitary blocks with toilets and showers. In addition, this marina offers boaters the possibility of renting berths for the day or even for the year.
On the other hand, Port Santa Lucia is committed daily to respecting the environment. Indeed, it has held the 2016 European Blue Flag Laureate for several years, as well as the 2012 Trophée de l'Escale.
At the beginning of the 20th century, some villas located on the south coast of Saint-Raphaël were equipped with private jetties. Construction of the southern basin of the Port of Santa Lucia began in 1968. As a result, a rockfill dike was built to protect the port basin and its eight jetties. Two years later, the dike was extended to protect the northern basin this time. In order to allow communication between the two basins, a central reservation was also dug.
In 1971, the dike was completed and the second basin was closed by a counter-jetty, thus creating three new jetties. Finally, in 1975, all the jetties of the northern basin were put in place. Around 1987, the development of the central reservation began with the harbor master's office, shops, restaurants, and buildings.
Thanks to its proximity to the Palais des Congrès de Saint-Raphaël, the Port of Santa Lucia is imbued with the dynamism and numerous events that take place there.
Indeed, a multitude of events between land and sea take place in its dedicated spaces. The Palais des Congrès has a 348-seat auditorium, an open-air platform (named Agora, designating the meetings of the people at the time of ancient Greece) and a congress space that can adapt to many functions and events.
